What is the eligibility criteria for applying to GMP through GMAT ?
Candidate applying to One Year General Management Programme by submitting their GMAT score must
(i) hold a minimum of three year Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university in India/abroad in any discipline,
(ii) be employed in a full-time job,
(iii) must have atleast five years of relevant managerial work experience as on 31 March 2012 in an organization of repute in the public, private or non- governmental sector after completing graduation.

i) DD for Rs 950/- (for Indian candidate) or $50 (for NRI candidates) drawn in favour of "XLRI Jamshedpur A/c Prospectus".
ii) The downloaded XLRI PP GMAT form duly signed.
iii) Copy of GMAT score.

How do I come to know that my form is been received by Admissions Office, XLRI?
Once the payment is authenticated, a mail is sent to the candidate confirming the receipt of form that is complete in all respect. This takes atleast two weeks time from the receipt of form.
 
How does the Admissions Office, XLRI get in touch with the candidate in case of clarifying any discrepancy found in the form?
The office usually notifies any discrepancy found in the form through emails to the candidates or contacting them telephonically.
 
What is the selection procedure for candidates applying for GMP through GMAT ?
The candidates, who clear the cut-off score, will be called for an interview. Candidates who qualify the interview will be offered admission to GMP. There will be no written test these candidates.
 
When will the names of the short listed candidates be declared?
The names of the short listed candidates are declared by end of January 2011.
 
When interviews are conducted?
The interviews are conducted between end of February and mid of March 2012.
 
In which cities the interviews are conducted ?

What is the fee for GMP ?
Fees and other charges for one year General Management Programme (GMP) will be approximately Rs. 14,00,000/- (or equivalent in $ US) for the academic year 2011 - 2012, plus service tax as applicable from time to time. Food, electricity and other personal expenses would be charged extra depending on the type of accommodation preferred by the student.
 
Is there any family accommodation available for the married candidates?
Yes, family accommodation is available for the married candidate which the candidate has to apply separately at the time of admissions.
