Instructions for Registering Online for Executive FPM (Exec-FPM)

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING THE REGISTRATION PROCESS
 
Applicants for the Executive-FPM should:
1. have an MBA / Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) or equivalent or GMP/PGPX or One Year fulltime residential programme in Management . Candidates from Premier B-Schools will be given preference.
2. be currently employed in a full-time job.
3. have at least 5 years of full-time executive/managerial/ teaching / research experience as on March 31, 2013.

Short listed candidates will be required to appear for a personal interview at XLRI ,Jamshedpur for final selection.
 
Instructions for Executive FPM Applicant:
4a. The candidate can choose one or maximum of two functional area, depending on eligibility.
4b. Before starting the online registration, make sure you have a DD made. The DD of Rs 2000/- is to be made in favour of " XLRI Jamshedpur A/c Prospectus " payable at Jamshedpur.

5. The candidate has to download the XLRI CONFIRMATION PAGE (Exec-FPM) after completing the online registration. The candidate has to paste his/her recent passport size colour photograph and put his/her signature in the space provided in the form. The form is then to be sent to Admission Office along with the DD/BC.
6. The last date for applying online is 28 December 2012 (22 December 2012) and the last date of receiving the XLRI PP XFPM Form along with DD/BC is 05 January 2013.
7. The candidates should write "Admissions for Exec-FPM" on the envelopes.

Course Structure:
Exec. FPM students will complete 12 courses in 5 campus visits of 20 days duration each spread over a period of 2 years. Besides the campus visits of 20 days duration each, at least 3-5 additional campus visits will normally be needed. These visits are meant for comprehensive examination, defense of the thesis proposal and final thesis defense. On successful completion of all the requirements of the Programme, a student will be awarded the title 'Fellow in Management of XLRI'.
Selection Procedure:
Call Letters for interviews (in March / April) will be sent as per their recommendations by FPM Committee. Short listed candidates will be required to appear for a personal interview during April 2013 at XLRI, Jamshedpur for the final selection. The programme will commence in June 2013.

Fee:
Fees and other charges for Executive FPM Programme will be approximately Rs. 5,25,000/- for the academic year 2013 - 2014. Along with the fees the participant will be required to deposit an additional refundable amount of Rs. 40,000/-. This does not include board and lodge during campus visits.
