Project
The project involving financial statement analysis should be done as per the following:
1. A Company should be chosen and its last 3-5 years annual reports should be downloaded.
2. Two of the peer group companies also to be identified and their annual reports should be also be downloaded.
3. Most critical ratios of the target company and the peer companies should be calculated.
4. The performance of the target company should be compared not only with its own previous performance but also with the peer group benchmark. The average of the values from the peer group companies should from the benchmark.
5. A narration should sum up the report of the student covering the reasons for good/bad performances.
6. Ideally a Dupont analysis also should be done.
The last deadline of submission is 2nd of January by Softcopy and Harcopy both. Student may submit to my new RA MS. Shireen Akhtar who sits at TMDC Basement (her number is 3983086).
