XLRI was founded in 1949 by a few visionary Jesuit Fathers to bring a change in the society. The institute always strives to

The genesis of XLRI began when Fr. Quinn Enright, S.J in 1949 laid the corner stone of one of the most celebrated management institutions of India, XLRI. Along with Fr. Bill Tome and other Jesuits, Fr. Quinn with the vision of "Renewing the face of the earth", meticulously transformed the institution into a Brand which is now respected worldwide.
