About Sir Jehangir Ghandy Library

The Library of XLRI came into existence in 1949 when the Institute was established in the Steel City of Jamshedpur. It was named after late Sir, Jehangir Ghandy in February 1972. The aim of the Library is to serve the needs of our faculty, Research Scholars, Students and Members of the Library. It is the heart of the institution and acts as a center for the collection of literature predominantly related to, management and its allied subjects and develops a comprehensive collection of information that is useful for academic and research purpose. User satisfaction is the current day approach to library service. To cope with this development, our Library is fully automated with RFID & EM (hybrid0 based Library Management System.
