Collection Arrangement
The Library follows Open Access System. Books are arranged in three Classes: The General Collection, Reserved Collection and Reference Collection
Processed New books are displayed for 10 days. After display these "New Arrivals" are moved to shelves and would be available for circulation. Books are shelved according to call numbers. When a book is requested by a user, call number and accession number must be correctly ascertained from the Online Public Access Catalogue
(OPAC) System.
Reserved Collection
Our reference collection is very rich with Dictionaries, Encyclopaedias, Handbooks, Theses, Dissertations, Project Reports, Government Reports, Maps, Atlases, and various Classics in the management domain.
Current Periodicals
The Library subscribes to periodicals as print. They have displayed alphabetically in the library. The latest issues are displayed in the magazine display and its back issues available in the corresponding drawers within. Theses loose issues will be cleared from the display for binding as soon as the volume is complete.
Bound Volume of Periodicals
Bound volumes are arranged in the stack room alphabetically by the title.
Newspapers
The Library receives 14 English newspapers. They are displayed in the reading corner near circulation Counter. Economic Times, Financial Express, Business Standard and Business Line are filed every month.
