Brief Profile  

Bijaya Krushna Mangaraj is a Professor in Production, Operations and Decision Sciences area. Prior to joining XLRI, he was a Professor and Head of the Department of Business Administration at Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, India. He holds M. Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Indian Institute of Technology, Khadagpur, India and a D. Sc. in Development Anthropology, from Utkal University, India. He has published several papers in national and international journals and edited volumes. His research interests include application of multi-criteria optimization models in management and development research, cultural dimension in sustainable development and business anthropology. He has presented research papers and chaired sessions in conferences both in India and abroad and was a finalist for the Operations Research for Development Award at the IFORS conference in Spain (2014).
