Brief Profile
Dr Rahul Chandra Sheel is a faculty of Organizational Behavior at XLRI – Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur. He earned his PhD in Organizational Behavior from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA). He is a member of the Academy of Management, the European Academy of Management and the Organisation Design Community.
Professor Rahul Sheel specializes in teaching subjects related to Organizational Development and Change, Organizational Structure and Design, and various facets of Leadership. Over the course of nine batches, he has been the coordinator and instructor for XLRI`s online executive development program on Leadership and Change Management. Through this program, he has successfully imparted knowledge and skills to a diverse group of over a thousand executives, who collectively possess an average work experience of 16 years. Furthermore, he has conducted training programs for executives hailing from prestigious companies such as Coca-Cola India, NTPC, NPCIL, NHPC, PowerGrid, JSW, ONGC, Indian Oil, HAL, Tata Steel, Tata Capital, Mahindra, L&T, Novo Nordisk, Asian Paints, and others. Additionally, Professor Sheel has leveraged his expertise to provide consultancy services to numerous organizations, supporting them in the development and growth of their senior leaders.
He publishes in various international and national journals and presents his work at various international conferences. His research interests are in the area of organizational cynicism, corporate social responsibility, emotional contagion, framing of change communication, meaningfulness, mistreatment, identity, and issues related to non-profits.
