Rev. Fr. Romuald
D'Souza, SJ, was Di-
rector of XLRI, Jam-
shedpur, from 1983-89.
In 1987, while serving
as the director at XLRI,
he also founded XIM Bhu-
baneshwar, now grown into Xavier
University. During his tenure here, XLRI
grew in three crucial directions: academic,
infrastructure and financial. He started the
Fellow Program in Management at XLRI
in 1989. On 26 January, 2010 Fr Romuald
received Padma Shri for his contribution
to education and literature.

srinivasan
Mallika Srinivasan,
is the Chairman and
Chief Executive Officer
of TAFE (Tractors and
Farm Equipment Limited).
Established in 1960, TAFE is
the third largest tractor manufacturer in
the world and the second largest in India,
by unit volume. Srinivasan is a thought
leader conferred with several awards and
accolades for her entrepreneurial skills
and her contribution to Indian agriculture.
In January 2014 she was conferred with
Padma Shri for her contribution to trade
and industry
