Director’s
Message
I am delighted to present to you the commemorative
coffee table book on the occasion of XLRI’s 60th annual
convocation ceremony. This is a momentous milestone for
XLRI and I wish to express my heartfelt congratulations
and appreciation to generations of faculty, staff and students
who have contributed their mite in helping build XLRI as a
much respected educational institution.
It is my privilege and honour to be a part of this great
institution built overs decades of dedication, commitment
and hardwork. As we now stand poised to embark upon
exciting and challenging times ahead it is appropriate for us
to look back and dwell upon XLRI’s extraordinary history,
built through years of dedicated service.
This book offers important glimpses of XLRI’s history,
luminously charting the story of our journey. Through
words and pictures we travel through time and acknowledge
the Founding Fathers, Directors and Deans, Members of
XLRI Board, Students, Faculty and Staff who have all played
a vital role in helping shape XLRI’s present stature as a
reputed management education institution.
As we enter the next phase of XLRI’s growth, let us persevere
to be the best, with a spirited yearning to always overcome
challenges through integrity, sensitive social conscience and
an abiding commitment to excellence.
