Sandip Sen
is the Global CEO and Executive Director at Aegis. He started
his career with the UB Group, an India based business conglomerate,
followed by a pioneering stint as the Head of Marketing and Network Head
at Hutchison Telecom, India. In 2001 he founded Customer First Services,
one of India’s leading CRM companies, and supported several blue chip
customers across telecom, banking, retail, hospitality and technology
segments. In 2006, Customer First Services was acquired by Aegis.
Mr. Sen has contributed exponentially to the growth story of Aegis; he
has been a market maker, brand builder and inspiring mentor to the
organisation. Prior to his current role as Global CEO, he was Global CMO
and later assumed the role of President for the US division. He has been
instrumental in building the company’s global presence across USA, India,
Sri Lanka, South Africa, Australia, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Argentina,
Peru and the UK and in architecting Aegis into a $1-billion company with
over 55,000 employees across 12 countries and 55 nationalities. Under his
leadership Aegis has won numerous awards and accolades from Global
Advisory and Analyst firms.
He has been a member of the NASSCOM BPO Executive Council since 2015
and Chairperson of the CII National Council on Special Abilities. He loves
teaching and has taught a course in Consumer Behaviour for many years
in XIME. Additionally, Mr. Sen is a well-known writer, speaker and thought
leader.
Mr. Sen is a pioneer in the BPO industry and is known as a leader with
imagination, integrity and intellect. He has achieved significant success
in his various global executive roles by creating the right blend of people,
process and technology. Backed by two decades of customer-centric
expertise, he is recognised as a visionary who delivers radical business
transformations.
