Alumni Homecoming - page 5

Dear Friends,
Once again, XLRI has been placed third among the top B-schools in India.
It is also the No. 1 private B-school in India. It has outscored top colleges
on many parameters. It is little wonder then that XLRI has become the
first choice of many HR and BM aspirants. The ever-increasing popularity
of General Management Programme and myriad other diploma and
certificate programmes goes to show the growth trajectory of XLRI. The
campus has become busier and is teeming with students. XLRI has another
feather to its cap – International Centre for the overseas students. The
state-of-the-art centre has everything that a foreign student looks for. All
these accolades and the infrastructure add to the already strong brand of
XLRI. While the current-batch students play an important role in shaping
the future of XLRI, one can’t but talk about the contribution of the old
students who are holding leadership positions in the corporate world, thus
strengthening the brand XL.
It gives me great pleasure to inform you that XLRI School of Management
is organising Homecoming, an annual event of the alumni, in Jamshedpur,
on November 8 and 9, 2014. The two-day event will give the old students
an opportunity not only to reconnect with their alma mater and reminisce
the good old days, but also to meet the new students and share their
experience with them. Besides, there will be the usual entertainment, golf
and other sports.
Lastly, I take this opportunity to welcome you back to the campus and to
join us at the Homecoming 2014.
Looking forward to meeting you,
Rana Sinha
